| About | Yamamoto is one of Japan’s three major garden-tree-producing areas. One of the originators was Sakanoue Zendayū, a successful Yamamoto-born grafter. Toyotomi Hideyoshi bestowed the name Kitsugidayū (“master grafter”) on him, and for his achievements this monument was erected near Yamamoto Station. |
