| About | On a sandbank of the Mukogawa River under a rail bridge of Hankyu Railway, stones have been piled up in the shape of the kanji character sei, which means “life” or “to live.” Created in memory of the victims of the 1995 Great Hanshin Earthquake, the stones have been washed away several times during flooding but have always been rebuilt. |
