About	For generations, the descendents of Yamanaka Shikanosuke, a 16th century samurai who served the Amago clan, ran a medical practice here. This site was also a source of Tamanoi spring water, which is believed to have been used by Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Sen no Rikyū for tea ceremonies.
