Sei stainless steel monument

About	Near the southern end of the Takarazuka Ōhashi Bridge is a stainless steel monument of the kanji character sei, which means “life” or “to live.” This monument is in memory of the victims of the Great Hanshin Earthquake. A similar monument made of stone has been built on the sandbank of the Mukogawa River and rebuilt several times after flooding. The stainless steel one will never be washed away.
