The Takarazuka Grand Theater was built in 1924 as a dedicated theater for the Takarazuka Revue. In 1993, just before the Revue’s 80th anniversary, the theater was rebuilt with a new contemporary design featuring brick-colored Spanish-style roof tiles. The theater’s stage props, sets, and sound and lighting systems employ cutting-edge technology to create truly spectacular performances.
