Get up close with the horses

It’s an iconic landmark of Takarazuka: the grandstand with its massive roof resembling a butterfly with its wings spread out. The Hanshin Racecourse holds a variety of events on race days, including seminars for horserace novices, flea markets, live performances by pop stars, and talk shows by celebrities. On the spacious grounds you’ll find a beautiful garden and a park with playground equipment, both of which are open to the public for free on non-race weekdays. We also offer pony rides on race days—fantastic for the kids!

Recommendations

There’s something for everyone on race days—food fairs, live music, anime character shows, and more. It’s a fun day out for the whole family. The grounds are also a great place to come if you want to enjoy seeing cherry blossoms in spring.
